Shabbot is now approaching, the sun is bowing low,

And paints a glorious sunset, bathing earth in its warm glow.

The evening is upon us, thus ends another week,

And now it's time to just reflect, our loving God to seek.

A time of rest and sweetness, considering all He's done.

Creating all the universe, creating everyone.

A time to rest and worship, and lift Him up as God,

A time to rest our weary feet, from all the miles we've trod.

A time of sweet communion as we rest in His great care,

and dedicate our lives once more, to His Truth and Wisdom, rare.

A time of thankful feasting, as His Blessing we enjoy,

The Blessing of Obedience, the fullness of His Joy!

We are so glad for Shabbot, and for our God above,

who set aside this time for us to bask in His great Love!

Shabbot Shalom, Chavarim! Chag Sameach Ha Matzot!
